Pre-Matric Scholarships are awarded to the students of class 1st to 10th from Minority Community. The student should have studied in any institution / private schools and government schools / institutions recognized by the appropriate authority.
The annual income of the student’s parent/guardian should not exceed Rs.1 lakh.
Continuation of award of scholarship is subject to securing 50% marks in the previous examination.
Students getting benefits under this scheme will not be allowed to get benefits under any other scheme of similar intent.
Rs. 500 per year for hostel and non-hostel students from class VI to class X. Tuition fee for residential and non-residential students from class VI to class X at the rate of Rs.500 per annum which will not exceed the actual level.
Rs. 600 per month to non-residential students of Class I in an academic year for a maximum period of 10 months. Rs. 100 per month for non-hostel students and Rs. Maintenance allowance at the rate of Rs. 600 per month to residential students from class VI to class X. 30% of the scholarships awarded are earmarked for girl students.

Under the scholarship scheme, the student will be eligible for the classes 11th and 12th in private schools and government schools/institutions recognized by an appropriate authority (which also includes vocational and technical courses of 11th and 12th levels of industrial training centers recognized by the National Council for Vocational Training).
The annual income of the parent/guardian of the student should not exceed Rs.2 lakh.
Continuation of scholarship is subject to securing 50% marks in the previous examination. Students getting benefits under this scheme will not be allowed to get benefits under any other scheme of similar purpose.
Rs. 700 for residential and non-residential students for classes 11th and 12th. Admission and tuition fee at the rate of per annum which will not exceed the actual level.
Rs. 10,000 annually to residential and non-residential students for technical and vocational courses up to 11th and 12th level.
Maintenance allowance for residential students of Rs.380 per month and Rs.230 for non-residential students for classes 11th, 12th and technical and professional courses at this level. The rate which will not exceed the actual level will be valid.
Rs. 300 to non-residential for courses other than technical and professional courses at graduate and post-graduate levels. Maintenance allowance will be payable at the rate of Rs.570 and residential students.
Rs. 1200 to residential students of M.Phil and Ph.D courses. There is a provision to provide fellowship for non-residential students at the rate of Rs.550 per month (for those research students who do not get any fellowship from the university or any other authority). In this scheme also, 30% of the scholarships awarded are earmarked for girl students.
